PITCHCADET ELECTRONIC MUSIC LICENSING CATALOGUE PROJECT: The purpose of the Pitchcadet catalogue will be to provide TV / FILM/ RADIO / INTERNET companies & music supervisors with a high quality source of independent electronic music tracks that have been "pre-cleared" by all the artists in the catalogue for immediate license and use in various media projects. You will retain and keep 100% of the rights to your tracks and can still work with other labels, companies, or on your own. This would be a NON-EXCLUSIVE agreement, which means you can still continue to peruse other avenues and opportunities with the tracks you submit. It is of no risk to you as long as you don't sample or send in other people's work. I have had some success since 2003 (SEE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE) with a number of my own tracks being licensed and used in a number of cable programs . I decided I should put together my own catalogue of indie artists and focus solely on the ELECTRONIC MUSIC segment. This will be another benefit of the Pitchcadet catalogue - it is focused on 1 general area of music - ELECTRONIC based tracks only, with all the genres under that umbrella (IDM, TECHNO, TRANCE, AMBIENT, EXPERIMENTAL, NOISE, JUNGLE, etc....). So ALL styles of electronic music are wanted for this project.
Here is a brief summary of how the project will work for those interested in taking part: * It is absolutely FREE to submit your music. * This is a NON-EXCLUSIVE agreement between Pitchcadet and the Artist. * You retain 100% OWNERSHIP and CONTROL of your tracks and can actively pursue your own licensing deals and record deals at the same time that Pitchcadet has use of your tracks. * You will receive 50% any license fee that Pitchcadet generates from your tracks - with NO admin costs deducted - straight split of 50/50. You will also be sent statements of which of your tracks have been used along with all the project details.
Here is what Pitchcadet is looking for from you (The Artist): * The right to license your tracks on a NON-EXCLUSIVE basis to clients * A guarantee from you (via filling out an artist agreement/contract which will be emailed to you with instructions upon acceptance into the catalogue) that all the tracks you submit are your own and have not been sampled from other people's work(s). * A minimum 1 year inclusion of any tracks accepted into the catalogue. ==================================================================================================================== DEMO / TRACK SUBMISSION INFO
For those interested in submitting tracks please mail them on CDR/DVD to the address below or send an Mp3 link page (at least 192 kbps). If the tracks are accepted into the catalogue then you will be notified and sent a simple artist agreement form to sign and mail or email back.
(Please note: DO NOT send tracks via email just send a link page to tracks already uploaded to a website. Any emailed tracks won't make it through)
****An Mp3 link page will get a faster response so feel free to email me a link to your tracks and I'll check them out ASAP and give you some feedback. When mailing a package please write clearly and legibly and don't send a big box, a small bubble envelope will do.
THANKS in advance for the great music that is to come!!!! - Aaron (aka M-tec / MicroWorld)
Remember ALL genres under the ELECTRONIC MUSIC category will be considered. I will try and reply back ASAP.
